A similar picture is also apparent from the answers to question 8, asking the extent of alignment of QbD with other quality initiatives within a company. Out of 31 adopters of QbD only 9 (29%) have aligned it to some extent with Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma programmes in the production area and only 7 (23%) replies stated to pursue QbD as part of a TQM approach within their organisation.
