Fleet Management as an integrated solution package

The Hilti Fleet Management is the base for the MTPRO-specific integrated solution package for the selected end-user key accounts. For instance, Hilti customers often use several thousands of construction devices at the same construction site. The demanding task for the efficient usage and maintenance of these devices is often neglected due to higher priorities of bigger construction equipment and material (Belz/ Müllner/ Zupancic, page 122). The same situation applies to the majority of MTPRO customers who either do not have the time and full expertise for the most efficient and productive usage as well as maintenance for analytical instrumentation.

In order to support customers to lower their costs and administration Hilti offers the following Fleet Management modules (Belz/ Müllner/ Zupancic, page 122):

• Fleet Management Basic: Customer-specific fleet analysis, fleet consulting, trade-in offers
• Fleet Management Medium: Full service extension, clear calculations, detailed aggregate cost statement
• Fleet Management Classic: Active Fleet Management by Hilti, replacement of defective and worn out tools in good time, allowance made for residual value of replaced tools

The biggest benefit for the end-customers is the optimal tool fleet that offers high level of availability, low total fleet costs, high tool performance, high level of job-site safety and high motivation of employees. The MTPRO-specific integrated solution package, which will be introduced in chapter 6, is based on a similar concept of the Fleet Management Medium and Classic.
